GLOM Meeting 2026, University of Bologna - February 6th

GLOM 2026 is a one-day meeting dedicated to Oceanic Lithosphere and Ophiolites. All disciplines are welcome to contribute to understanding the processes of formation, evolution, and obduction of the oceanic lithosphere, from the mantle to the ophiolites.

The outline of the day’s program include a series of talks, with preference given to young researchers, complemented by reports and recent advancements from senior scientists, a newly introduced workshop for early-career scientists to prepare the ECS (see below), a dedicated talk for students of the host department highlighting leading research on the oceanic lithosphere
