WINNERS OF PASSERINI AWARD 2020

The Pietro Passerini award 2020 for an outstanding PhD thesis on ophiolites was shared by two candidates. 

The awarded “ex-aequo” theses are:

- “Structural and petrological constraints in the exhumation processes of the Western Alpine meta-ophiolite units” by Stefano Ghignone (Università di Torino);

- “Melt-rock interactions in the oceanic lithosphere: microstructural ad petro-geochemical constraints from ophiolites” Valentine Basch (Università di Genova, now at Università di Pavia).
